Our Mission

At Rise Above Poverty, we believe in more than just clothing – we believe in making a difference. Our student run, not-for-profit business is dedicated to creating stylish and purposeful hoodies and toques that not only keep you warm but also warm the hearts of those in need.

We are creating apparel in order to raise money to donate all our profits towards The Ottawa Mission. With your help! We will maximize our profits in order to change the struggle.

What is The Ottawa Mission?

The Ottawa Mission is an incredible organization that provides essential services towards those experiencing homelessness in Ottawa. They offer shelter, meals, healthcare and so much more! The Mission is dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and rebuild their lives. They rely on the support of his company to continue their important work, this just shows how important it is to raise money to donate back to them.

About Rise Above Poverty:

We are a grade 11 class at Saint Joseph Catholic high school, we are now part of the OCSB Social Entrepreneurship Program. This program encourages our class to become better entrepreneurs and learn how to run a business.

Our team have put great effort in creating Rise Above Poverty. This Non For Profit has been designed to raise money to donate our profits, to The Ottawa Mission. Our team have decided to create Toques and Hoodies to sell, in order to raise our profits.
